About the provider

For 30 years, FamilyWorks has worked in equal partnership with families to co-create programs that make a difference in families’ lives. FamilyWorks says it partners with families to alleviate food insecurity and provide resources and support to overcome systemic barriers to equity, build stable communities, and thrive. It also works with organizations throughout Seattle, including Solid Ground’s Food Smarts cooking classes, family field trips to local museums, the Seattle Aquarium, and the Woodland Park Zoo, and Infant/Child CPR courses with Seattle Fire’s Medic Two.

Designed for families in North Seattle but open to all, FamilyWorks programs are low-barrier and easy to access. Anyone is free to drop-in to playgroups. Participating in all playgroups is completely free! Registration is required to attend parenting classes.
