About
Revolution Volleyball Camps at the University of Washington includes drills, games, scrimmages, camp matches, and camp games with chances to win prizes. Campers take part in dynamic warm ups, agility and ball control work, technical skills training in serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and digging, and tactical skill training that focuses on reading the play or situation and decision-making. The program also uses game-based learning, small games, controlled situational scrimmages and games, team building activities, and evening activities such as beach volleyball, icebreakers, bowling, field games, talent shows, movie or game nights, campus tours, and team-building activities.

• Schedule: Three 4-day sessions in 2026 (June 21–24, July 5–8, and August 9–12), with overnight camps running 4 days and 3 nights and extended day options with daily drop-off and pickup times.

Revolution Volleyball Camps are part of the eCamps Sports Network, which has developed over 100,000 young athletes at camps nationwide since 2001. The camp states that it is committed to helping volleyball athletes of all skill levels reach elite levels of play whether in tournaments, scrimmages, college, or beyond. Session 1 is directed by Tim Boonstra, the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Mount Vernon Christian, who has led his program to a Bi-district Championship and multiple State Championship qualifications, has earned league titles at Liberty Bell High School, and has coached numerous All-League honorees. The camp notes low camper-to-coach ratios, with camper-to-coach ratios as low as 4-to-1 mentioned for Revolution Volleyball Camps generally, and groups campers based on age and ability level with adjustments made throughout the week. Overnight campers stay in dorm rooms and have access to all-you-can-eat buffet meals, and campers receive a camp T-shirt, prizes, and daily matches in a top-rate facility as part of general Revolution Volleyball Camps features.
Campers are asked to bring necessary volleyball equipment such as knee pads, shoes, and a refillable water bottle, along with items like health forms, on-court and off-field clothes, athletic sneakers, sunscreen, linens for a Twin XL bed, blanket or sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, shower towel, an alarm clock, and a portable fan. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones to contact their guardians but are not allowed to use them on the field during training sessions, and the camp suggests not bringing expensive personal items such as cell phones or laptops, stating that all personal items are the responsibility of each camper and that Revolution Volleyball and its staff are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items. Testimonials from parents and campers mention drills, games, team-building activities, and time spent with other players and friends who enjoy volleyball.
