The camps are offered as Spring Break and Summer Camps, and the school often offers a Mid-Winter Break camp in February. Five-day camps are organized in two age groups: 30 months to 5 years old, and Kindergarten (5 years old) to 10 years old. For the summer camp series, there are three camp types: a Full Day Summer Camp for elementary-aged students (incoming Kindergarten–5th grade, ages 5–10), a Half Day Summer Camp for preschool-aged students (ages 30 months to 5 years), and a Half Day – Extended Summer Camp for preschool-aged students with extended care (ages 30 months to 5 years). For the spring break camp, there are also three camp types: a Full Day Camp for elementary-aged students (incoming Kindergarten–5th grade, ages 5–10), a Half Day Camp for preschool-aged students (ages 30 months to 5 years), and a Half Day – Extended Camp for preschool-aged students with extended care (ages 30 months to 5 years). The schedule includes five-day summer camps on July 6–10, 2026; July 13–17, 2026; July 27–31, 2026; and August 3–7, 2026, and a spring camp from April 13–17, 2026, with daily hours from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm. Families are asked to send a sack lunch and a spare change of clothes, and snacks and drinks are provided.

The SAGA School provides a full immersion German language program that fosters early language acquisition and promotes cross-cultural understanding in students, and its full immersion concept is based on the belief that languages are best learned as “living languages,” in which students play, explore, create, sing, and learn. While this is a German immersion program, no prior experience with the German language is required. The mission of the Seattle Area German American School is to provide a German immersion education. The program is developed by SAGA Director of Preschool Education Anita Dunlap and is led by Anita and her team. SAGA is recognized as a 501c-3 tax-exempt educational institution by the Internal Revenue Department and has achieved NWAIS Candidate Member status. SAGA also offers a wide variety of enrichment programs for children of all ages, most in German.
