Seattle Central Little League offers baseball and softball programs, including Skills Assessment Day sessions for players. All baseball and softball players ages 4–14 are welcome, with no experience required. Tickets for the league’s annual fundraiser include a pregame track walk and are described as the best off field team bonding opportunity of the season.

Seattle Central Little League offers baseball programs for boys and girls ages 4–14 and softball programs for girls ages 6–14. All baseball players registered for the AAA/Minors and Majors divisions are required to attend a Skills Assessment Day session, and a player may attend more than one session but is required to attend only one. These sessions are not tryouts, as each player is placed on a team, and they are used to assess each player’s skills in order to help ensure competitive balance among the teams. Little Leagues are geographically based, and every player must live or go to school in the league’s boundary area, which for Seattle Central Little League runs roughly from the Ship Canal to I-90 north-south, and from Lake Washington to Lake Union and then Elliott Bay east-west. Registration for the 2026 season of Seattle Central Little League is now open, and full payment of the registration fee is required at the time of registration. It is the policy of Seattle Central Little League that every child should have an opportunity to play baseball or softball regardless of their financial situation.
Seattle Central Little League is holding the 2nd Annual SCLL Diamond Champions Community Day on Saturday June 7th. The program also highlights a free Garfield High School Varsity Baseball vs Newport High School game on Friday May 2nd at 7:30pm at T-Mobile Park.
