Clark County Youth Football describes itself as Clark County Washington’s premier, progressive youth football league since 1983 and Clark County’s longest running, most established youth football program. The program states that everyone in grades kindergarten through 8th grade is welcome to play, with no maximum or minimum player weight restrictions and mandatory play rules and rotations that provide playing time in every game for all players. Age and grade divisions are used, and teams are not hand picked by coaches. Spring FLAG Football is open to grades K–8, the 2026 fall Advanced Flag Football (Flex) program is open to grades 2–4, and the 2026 fall Tackle Football program is open to grades 3–8, with 3rd & 4th Grade Rookie Tackle, 5th & 6th Grade Junior Tackle, and 7th and 8th grade tackle as separate, independent divisions if registration numbers support them. The FLEX program remains an option for 3rd and 4th graders.

Coaches receive training through USA Football, and all coaches are USA Football Heads Up Football certified. All tackle games are officiated by the Evergreen Football Officials Association, using the same officials who work high school games, and some games are played at night under the lights. The league uses an all-digital management system through SportsEngine for registration, rostering, league communications, and team communications, and families can download the app for up-to-the-minute updates. SG7 Speed & Agility Training with Coach Greene is in its third year and is offered at no cost to participants.

Clark County Youth Football describes itself as “Clark County Washingtons Premier, Progressive Youth Football League since 1983,” “The Best Game in Town,” “Where kids come first,” and “Clark County’s Longest Running, Most Established Youth Football Program.” The program states that it has served the children of Clark County for 42 years. The CCYF mission states that the program has always been about giving players a safe, positive football experience, with the motto “Kids First and Winning Second,” and that it is dedicated to continued growth and to allowing more young athletes to play football, with the belief that “Most Teams Help People Become Better Athletes, But the Best Teams Help Athletes Become Better People.” Teams are assigned by the geographical boundaries of the public school district that players will attend, so children play with classmates and neighborhood friends to create a feeder program for the high schools they will attend.
