Medallion Art School

Medallion Art School offers classes in drawing, pastels, oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Classes are limited in size, and students work on their own projects in a variety of media. Individualized instruction is keyed to each student’s abilities and progress, with students working at their own speed.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Day and evening classes are available Monday through Saturday, with four 1 1/2 hour classes for 5-year-olds and four two-hour classes for ages 6 through adult, including seniors 60+, active duty military, police, fire and EMS families, and home school students (home school classes offered Monday–Friday before 4:00 pm only).
• Price: $65 for four 1 1/2 hour classes for 5-year-olds (drawing pad and kit $20); $84 for four two-hour classes for ages 6 through adult (drawing pad and kit $40); $74 for four two-hour classes for seniors 60+; $74 for four two-hour classes for active duty military, police, fire and EMS families; $74 for four two-hour classes for home school students (Monday–Friday before 4:00 pm only).

Medallion Art School is owned and operated by internationally recognized artist Judi Whiting, along with her husband, Bob. All instructors are highly trained artists and teachers experienced in a variety of media. With many years of experience as a professional artist, gallery owner, and owner/operator of art schools, Judi has developed a method of teaching that rapidly increases the student’s artistic abilities. The classes are instructional yet enjoyable and help the student gain confidence and self-esteem through pride in his or her accomplishments. Art supplies are available for sale to students, or students may bring their own supplies subject to approval. Make-up classes are allowed for any missed regular classes, classes must be paid for in advance, and gift certificates are always available.
