Medallion Art School

Medallion Art School offers Beginning Drawing, Pastels, Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, and Other Media. Students work with pencil and charcoal in Beginning Drawing, use soft pastels in Pastels, and take beginning to advanced instruction in Oils, Acrylics, and Watercolors. The Summer Art Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and students may sign up for a 1- or 2-week session.

Programs

• Summer Art Camp — Ages 6-16 · Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon · $225–$425 per week · Students may sign up for a 1- or 2-week session. Snacks available for 25¢ to $1.00 each. All supplies furnished by Medallion Art.
• Beginning Drawing — Ages 5 through adult · Beginning to advanced courses are offered. Students work with pencil and charcoal.
• Pastels — Ages 5 through adult · Soft pastels are used for this discipline.
• Oils — Ages 5 through adult · Beginning to advanced students are taught.
• Acrylics — Ages 5 through adult · Beginning to advanced students are taught.
• Watercolors — Ages 5 through adult · Beginning to advanced students are taught.
• Other Media — Ages 5 through adult · Additional media may be offered as qualified teachers join the team.

About the provider

Medallion Art School is owned and operated by internationally recognized artist Judi Whiting and her husband, Bob. Judi Whiting is described as having many years of experience as a professional artist, gallery owner, and owner/operator of art schools. All instructors are highly trained artists and teachers experienced in a variety of media. Classes are limited in size, individualized instruction is based on each student’s abilities and progress, and classes are offered daily Monday through Saturday with day and evening options.
