Messiah Preschool states that it is dedicated to partnering with families in teaching each student God’s love, in creating a foundation for a lifetime of learning and developing caring, confident children. The program features small class sizes, active learning opportunities, family events, help with potty-training, and online payment options. It describes itself as an early-learning community where children feel well cared for and safe, where children are valued as individuals and their needs for attention, approval, and affection are supported, and where children acquire a strong foundation in the knowledge and skills needed for a lifetime of learning success.

The staff is described as dedicated, nurturing, and qualified, and the leadership team includes Director Joyce Handran; teachers Tina Van Buskirk, Kari Lynn Bogart, Cheyenne Leonard, and Megan Dilitto; Parish Assistant Teacher Gina January; and Teaching Assistants Laura Albright, Breanna Whittle, Tori Beavin, and Krista Stein. The preschool uses indoor and outdoor play areas and safe, calm, and engaging learning spaces designed for independence, including a stand-alone building for 3’s and 4’s classes, and notes that the center is professionally cleaned daily. The program also notes a check-in and out process and offers need-based tuition assistance.

Parent testimonials describe children growing spiritually through chapel services, memory verses, and connections with others, and say that their children developed a solid foundation that made them confident and ready to start kindergarten. Parents mention that teachers are wonderful, kind, thoughtful, and go above and beyond in taking care of children, and that their children love their classes and teachers and have grown in many ways. Families also describe Messiah Preschool as a blessing, say they are thankful for the teachers’ role in getting their child emotionally and academically ready for kindergarten, and note feeling secure with the check-in and out process and the personal greeting from the director.
