Moy Martial Arts & Tai Chi Academy offers training in Self-Defense (KAJUKENBO), Kung Fu, Judo, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) strategies and tactics, kickboxing, close-quarter combat, grappling, ground fighting, and weapons defense. The program also includes Tai Chi, Chi Gung (Qigong), Bully Proofing, Positive Life Skills, and a How-to-be-a-Leader Curriculum, with specific offerings such as Self Defense for Kids and Martial Arts and Bully-Proofing for Teens. Additional workshops include Youth Bully Proofing, Abduction Prevention, Women’s Self Defense, Rape Prevention, Team Building, Conflict Resolution, Stress-Management, Wellness, Creativity KickStart, Staff Safety training, and Conflict de-escalation and Resolution training, as well as Tai Chi for Seniors and Self Defense Workshops for Women and Teen Girls.

Moy Martial Arts & Tai Chi Academy was established in 1991 and has been teaching martial arts at its facility in Vancouver, WA (USA) for over 30 years. The academy states that it has earned a reputation for delivering high quality and authentic training since 1991. The mission of the program is to individually strengthen students by providing a quality Martial Arts, Tai Chi and Chi Gung program that will help them achieve their personal training goals, to maintain a safe, well-equipped, and clean training facility, to inspire an atmosphere of respect, integrity and courage, and to be a positive presence in the lives of students and in the community.

The owner and head instructor, Sifu Mark Moy, is a 9th degree Black Belt in KAJUKENBO Tum Pai Kung Fu, an internationally certified instructor of Tai Chi Ch’uan and Qigong (Chi Gung), and a Certified Chief Instructor for the World Chinese Internal Martial Arts Association. Sifu Mark Moy was adjunct faculty at Clark College for 20 years, where he started Tai Chi for Seniors and taught Kung Fu and Judo. Moy Academy was voted one of the Martial Arts Studio Finalists in the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Best of Clark County, a reader poll conducted by the Columbian newspaper.

The academy offers Tai Chi and Qigong (Chi Gung) as Health and Wellness Arts from China that will improve balance, increase energy, teach stress management, and help rehabilitate joint and back problems. Self Defense Workshops for Women and Teen Girls are based on principles that are described as simple, effective and empowering, with no prior training necessary. Classes are available for kids, teens and adults, ages 5 and older, and family tuition rates are available. On-site training is available for corporations and organizations, including Team Building, Stress Management, Staff Safety, and Conflict de-escalation and Resolution.
