Premier Baseball Club Developmental Program includes evaluations for new players, workouts, clinics, practices, and team related activities. Players take part in base running, dry field work, batting practice, a clubhouse meeting, and a Tournament as part of the program.
• Ages: 8–10 years old
• Schedule: Tryout will take place July 28th - August 1st.
The Premier Baseball Club is a non-profit baseball organization with a mission to promote the development of baseball fundamentals and foster passion and respect for the game, with a goal to found a winning tradition and to be pillars in the baseball community. The Developmental Program is designed to give 8, 9, and 10 year old ballplayers a chance to experience a college style off-season workout program and is designed to work around Little League and/or other organized baseball seasons, with each player invited to participate in workouts, clinics, practices, team related activities, and a Tournament before returning to their spring programs. The club is based out of Vancouver, WA, with players from SW Washington and Oregon.
Coach Chris Sperry serves as head catching and hitting coach and brings years of professional playing, coaching, and scouting experience to the club, and was most recently head coach at UP. Coach Jack Uhey serves as head pitching coach and brings years of professional playing, coaching, and scouting experience to the club, and was most recently scouting for the Angels. The leadership team also includes Gregg Coulter of Premier Baseball Club, who is listed as the contact for the tryout process or the program.
Premier Baseball Club lists multiple credentials and awards, including 14u Makes a Statement at Perfect Game BCS National Championships, TCS Spring Training Champions, Triple Crown World Series 2018 13u Champions, 12U GSL Indoor Tournament Champions 2017, NW Nations Spring Training Champions 2017, 13U NW Nations Spring Training Champions 2017, NW Nations 12U March Madness Champions 2017, and NW Nations 13U March Madness Champions. The club’s home facility, The Lumber Yard, is described as a baseball and softball training facility with seven multi-use, 15ft high tunnels and 8,500 square feet of malleable space.
