• Schedule: Monday and Tuesday programs listed as “Gone Riding,” with shop hours Wednesday–Saturday from 11:00am–6:00pm and Sunday closed to the public for community programs
• Price: Programs are usually free and made possible through generous donations.

Bike Clark County’s mission is to increase bicycle access for everyone, promote education, foster sustainability, and inspire safe adventures for riders of all ages and abilities. Bike Clark County is Southwest Washington’s only bicycle education and advocacy organization and does not charge membership dues. The organization offers programs and bikes for kids and schools, organizes community events and rides, and is organized and operated by a board of directors. Participants in Earn a Bike Camp receive a free used bike, and donated bikes are repaired and turned into bikes for youth. Bike Clark County has been creating the next generation of safe and responsible cyclists since 2009 and opened a full-service bike shop in 2017 as part of its nonprofit bicycle safety organization.

The leadership team includes Founder Eric Giacchino; Vice President and Executive Director Peter Van Tilburg; Board President Christopher Stekhuizen; Board Members Preston Antisdel, Mike Farber, Brooke Harmon, Sherry Chavez, and Sally Williams; Bike Shop Service Manager Ryan Thiele; and Program Manager Lisa Giacchino. Peter Van Tilburg has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Mike Farber is an OB/Gyn physician and Medical Director of the Family Birth Center at PeaceHealth Southwest. Brooke Harmon is an environmental engineer at Maul Foster & Alongi with a focus on stormwater and remediation in the northwest. Sherry Chavez is the Columbia Network Informatics Director at PeaceHealth, and Sally Williams is a retired physician. In the community, Bike Clark County’s founder and leaders are involved in efforts such as co-founding the organization with local volunteers and leaders, coaching the local Special Olympics cycling team in the spring, and serving on the Scenic Bikeways Task Force for Washington State.
