East Troy Parks & Recreation Programs are offered through the East Troy Parks and Recreation Department. Participants register for classes and activities through the department office, and late registrants may not receive a class t-shirt if supplies are limited. If a class is full, interested participants may be placed on a waiting list.

The East Troy Parks and Recreation Department states that it is committed to meeting current and future community needs by offering quality, safe and affordable programs, and by providing safe and aesthetically pleasing parks, open spaces, and natural resource preservation. The department describes its parks, open spaces, and natural resource areas as safe and aesthetically pleasing. The department works closely with the school district to avoid short-notice cancellations, and if school is closed due to inclement weather, the recreation activity is also canceled.
The department has a non-resident policy under which fees for East Troy Recreation Programs are 50% more (to the nearest half dollar) than the resident rate for non-residents. For all programs, the age requirement is based on the participant’s age as of the date of the first class, unless otherwise specified. Programs that do not meet minimum enrollment are canceled and each individual receives a full refund. Refunds are available upon request of a registered participant up until the date of the scheduled class, with a $5.00 service fee on any refunds requested by an individual, and if an activity is canceled, the participant may choose a full refund or transfer to another activity.

It also states that no person will be excluded from participation, denied benefits, or subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, handicap, and/or disability. The department is receptive to suggestions for organizing additional classes and activities beyond those already listed.
All registration transactions must be completed at the Recreation Office before the scheduled class, and instructors do not accept registration or payment at the class site. Participants who register late for classes may not be guaranteed a class t-shirt. If the class a person wants is full, that person may be placed on a waiting list.
The department notes that openings for positions such as swim instructors, officials, seasonal maintenance staff, and instructors for various instructional programs are usually filled from current applications on file. Persons interested in serving as volunteers are encouraged to contact the recreation director to discuss how their services may be used. The department lists Vickie Muszynski as the Director of Parks & Recreation.
