Camp Timber-lee offers summer camps, WinterXtreme weekend winter retreats, Outdoor Education, and Retreats that include activities such as ziplining, campfire devotions, horseback riding, and science exploration. Week-long sessions are described as being filled with outdoor adventures, Bible studies, and friendships among campers.

Since 1947, Camp Timber-lee has operated as a camp, beginning as Camp Willabay in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, and moving to its current site 25 years later. The camp’s mission is “To create engaging communities where each young person encounters Christ through a dynamic camp experience.” The name “Timber-lee” comes from “Timber,” symbolizing firmness, and “Lee,” meaning safety from the wind. Camp Timber-lee’s current site is a 550-acre property with forests, lakes, and trails, and it is described as a 600-acre classroom with hands-on learning opportunities. Timber-lee has 64 buildings that can be used for a variety of needs, including multiple amphitheaters, meeting rooms, pavilions, science center classrooms, dining spaces, and a range of lodge and house-style lodging options with specified bed counts, room layouts, and amenities such as lounges, fireplaces, restrooms with showers, and heating and/or air conditioning.
Supporters can partner with Camp Timber-lee to make it possible for thousands of kids to experience its programs. One camper, Sierra, states that her time at camp has impacted her spiritually and that the speakers, staff, and friends she makes are always there for her. Another camper, Abigail, says she felt she met Jesus in a personal way for the first time at camp and is thankful for a place that fosters opportunities for building a deeper relationship with Jesus and others. A camper parent, Chris, describes Camp Timber-lee by saying, “Simply put, it is almost unbelievable that a place like this exists. The world would be a better place if there were more Timber-lees.”
