Sun Fire Stables Youth Day Camp is part of a family-owned and operated equine facility that has been providing horse-related services since 1984. Youth Day Camp has been offered every consecutive year since 2004. The program follows the Sun Fire Stables mission of offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for horse enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, with an emphasis on quality instruction and hands-on experience with horses. The camp is owned and managed by Jennifer Gaudes-Raemisch and Dean Raemisch.
Lead instructor Jennifer Gaudes-Raemisch holds an Associate Degree in Equine Management (1995) from Lakeshore Technical College. Her credentials include certification as an instructor with the Horsemanship Safety Association from 1993–1999 and as an American Riding Instructor Association Recreational Riding & Driving Level 3 instructor from 2000 to the present. She has been voted one of the top 50 Riding Instructors in the United States by ARIA and is a member and judge with the Wisconsin State Horse Council, a Wisconsin 4-H Horse Judge, a Next Level Horse Business member, and an AQHA member.
Sun Fire Stables is involved with the community through Scout events and equine adventures for scout troops and large groups.
