About
Kiel Area Youth Theatre offers theatrical experiences that include Mini Camps, auditions, and performances of shows such as High School Musical, Seussical Kids, and WORKING. Previous productions have included Beauty and the Beast Jr. (2025), Wizard of Oz (2024), Lion King Jr. (2023), Madagascar (2022), Lovin' Summer! (2021), Annie Jr. (2019), Willy Wonka (2018), Nifty Fifties (2017), Pirates Life for Me (2016), and Princess Whatsername (2015).
• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Activities during the season include a parent meeting on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m.; Mini Camps on Sunday, March 15 and March 22; auditions on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12; High School Musical performances on June 25–28, 2026; Seussical performances in late June or early July 2026; and WORKING performances on July 31–August 2, 2026.
Kiel Area Youth Theatre is a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization that promotes and provides the opportunity for Kiel, Wisconsin area youth to participate in fun and positive theatrical experiences in order to share their creative talents and performance abilities with the community. The organization celebrates 10 years of theater and has grown quickly into a vehicle of the promotion of the arts, with a KAYT Alumni show (WORKING) performed by participants from 9th grade to adult. The organization reports having the overwhelming support of the community and lists Victor Schueller as a contact person.
