Little Chute Parks, Recreation & Forestry Programs include instructional, athletic, social, and aquatic activities such as softball, baseball, soccer, football, volleyball, tennis, basketball, ice skating, and swim lessons. The program also offers access to playground equipment, picnicking areas, trails, and festivals. The department maintains over 86 acres of parks, open space areas, and wilderness for these activities.
• Schedule: Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with the office closed on major holidays. Registration for recreation programs begins Tuesday, April 1 at 8:00 a.m. for residents and non-residents (excluding swim lessons). Registration for 1st and 2nd Session Swim Lessons is done online or in person starting Monday, May 12 at 8:00 a.m., and registration for 3rd Session Swim Lessons starts Monday, July 7 at 8:00 a.m. Registration for 2025 Fall/Winter recreation programs begins on Thursday, August 1 at 8:00 a.m. for residents and non-residents.
The department offers online registration for most recreation programs with debit or credit card payment and no additional fees, and in-person registration at the Park & Rec Department at Village Hall with cash or check only. Registration for recreation programs can only be done online or in person, each program is limited in size, and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A 2025 Spring/Summer Programs Book and a 2025 Fall/Winter Programs Book are available online, with printed copies available in the Park & Rec Office. Department e-newsletters are sent out once a month with information about upcoming recreation programs, events, and park news. The department is led by John McDonald, Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Director, and Karen Schuh, Recreation Supervisor.
