About
Highlander Skill Camps offers football, volleyball, and basketball camps that include skill-building drills and game-time experience. The program includes a football camp, a volleyball camp, and a basketball camp for young athletes who want focused time in each sport.

• Schedule: 2026 Highlander Football Camp for 3rd to 5th graders and 6th to 8th graders on Monday, July 20; 2026 Highlander Volleyball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders and 6th to 8th graders on Monday, June 29; 2026 Highlander Basketball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders and 6th to 8th graders on Monday, June 22
Each Highlander Skill Camp features elite-level coaching with expert instruction, skill-building drills, and game-time experience. Campers learn from current and former collegiate athletes, including Wisconsin Badger athletes. The camps are part of Hickory Hill Academy, whose mission is to cultivate compassionate leaders through a focus on campus, community, and curriculum, and which emphasizes L-E-A-D-E-R-S values. The school is led by Matt Dahl (School President/Owner), Matthew (HHA President and Owner), and Heather, who took on leadership in 2019, building on the work of founders Dr. Sandra Dahl and Dr. Will Dahl, who opened Kids Express Learning Center in 1996 and later transitioned it to Hickory Hill Academy in 2020. Through the non-profit Friends of HHA, the school offers funds toward student scholarships and teacher professional development, along with tuition support tailored to each family’s needs. In 2023, Hickory Hill Academy opened a new 50,000-square-foot K–8 building that includes dedicated classrooms for art, science, and music, a full gymnasium, and an indoor garden.
