It was created by the community, for the community, and serves people ages 3 to 103 through programs for children and youth, older adult activities and meals, a food pantry, a fitness center, a community newspaper, event spaces and more. The center’s mission is: “We strengthen lives and secure futures – with your help!” Goodman Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an equal opportunity provider and is partially funded by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Program, the City of Madison, Dane County, and the Irwin A & Robert D Goodman Foundation, and is a proud partner with the United Way of Dane County. The organization is led by Interim President & Executive Director Jeff Burkhart.
