Camp North Shore offers a traditional day camp experience that includes activities such as golf, tennis, daily recreational swim time for full day campers, arts and crafts, group games, Fun with Foods, STEM Challenges, and special events like Camp Carnival, Camp Olympics, and a Camp Talent Show. Campers take part in daily camp rituals such as Hello Camp and Goodbye Camp, as well as weekly traditions including Wacky Wednesdays, Thankful Thursdays, and Friday Fundays. The camp is described as a place to unplug, with all electronic devices and cell phones required to be left at home, and all campers are required to wear the official camp shirt each day of the week.

Golf is offered as one recreational group session each week for full day campers, and tennis is offered as two recreational group sessions each week. Full day campers have recreational swim time in the club’s pool each day. Thankful Thursday projects include community service initiatives such as Project Morry Relay-A-Thon, Cards for A Million Thanks, Kindness Chain for SCOPE, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, Club Appreciation Day, and Thankful for Family, and Thankful Thursdays are described as weekly community service initiatives across all camp locations.
Hello Camp is a morning meeting where campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule, and sing a special camp song, while Goodbye Camp is a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, SMILE Bands, snacks, and farewells. The camp is described as small and traditional, fun, structured, and safe as part of KE Camps’ general description. All campers must be at least 5 years old by the first day they attend camp, must be potty-trained, and must be able to handle a full day program. If a family is not a Club Member of North Shore Country Club, they must be sponsored by a Club Member to register a child for camp, and there is a 10% sibling tuition discount for families enrolling two siblings in the same week or weeks.
KE Camps requires all campers to wear the official camp shirt each day of the week and to dress in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Families are asked to pack items in a labeled bag or backpack, including optional extra snacks, a flotation vest if the child will be classified as a Bogey (non-swimmer) or if the parent prefers this classification, golf clubs (required), sunscreen (spray for body is preferred), swimsuit, tennis racquet (required), towel, and water bottle. The club provides lunch for every camper each day unless a family prefers to pack their own lunch in a cooler or backpack, and a snack is served each afternoon, with families encouraged to pack extra snacks. The camp is a “nut aware” camp, lunches and snacks served by the club will not contain any nuts, and families are asked not to pack any food that contains nuts.
