Elite Sports Club-Mequon Youth Activities & Camps includes options such as aquatics, tennis, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, recreational sports leagues, and other sports and youth activities. The program also connects kids and families with offerings like group exercise classes including Les Mills BodyPump, Zumba, yoga, indoor cycling and spin, as well as water aerobics, Swim Fit, School’s Out Scamp, Laser Tag Lock-in, and Make Your Own Spring Bouquet. Playrooms and childcare services and family events and programs are also part of the club’s youth and family offerings.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Club hours run Monday–Thursday 5:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m., Friday 5:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., with separate playroom hours and seasonal outdoor pool hours
Junior members ages 10 and older are allowed to use the fitness center and multi-sport courts after completing Teen Nutrition & Training for ages 10–14 or a free fitness orientation for ages 15 and older, and they must be at least 15 years old to use the treadmills. Lifeguards must be Red Cross Certified, at least 16 years old for summer seasonal positions, and are required to keep their rescue skills at audit quality levels set by Elite Sports Clubs standards. Certified Spin Instructors must hold certification from A.C.E., AFAA, or another nationally recognized organization and/or a certification specific to the classes taught, along with CPR/AED certification, while Certified Water Aerobics Instructors must be certified through an accredited water exercise training program, and Certified Yoga Instructors must have 200 or more CYT hours plus current CPR/AED certification. Summer Camp Counselors must be 18 or older and high school graduates, and Grill Attendants for summer seasonal work must be 16 or older. Members must reserve lap lanes in advance through the member app, and sections of the pool or the entire pool may be closed during classes and lessons. Elite Sports Club-Mequon became part of the Elite Sports Club family in 2005, and Elite Sports Clubs state that they are premier family and fitness gyms in Milwaukee featuring amenities for health and recreational needs.
