Stellar Tech Girls offers STEAM programs for girls and non-binary kids ages 9–14 in an inclusive, collaborative environment with year-round programming and scholarships available. The program features creative science, real engineering, and confidence-building experiences led by inspiring women in STEM, and is taught by female engineering role models. It is popular for birthday parties and Girl Scout troops and includes exposure to different engineering career paths and iterative learning using the engineering design cycle, promoting creativity, imagination, and analytical skills.

The program is led by founder Marina Bloomer, who has been featured in multiple publications, including the Wisconsin State Journal, The Cap Times, Milwaukee BizTimes, Madison In Business, and UW-Madison WSB. According to these sources, Stellar Tech Girls runs summer camps and workshops focused on STEM topics, and Bloomer’s startup helps inspire elementary and middle school girls to pursue engineering majors and careers. The program’s mission is helping girls pursue their STEM passions, and local coverage notes that local girls who are into science are Stellar Tech Girls.

Stellar Tech Girls won first place in the Business Services category of the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest. Testimonials from families and media mention a camper warming up quickly to the experience and a participant wanting to attend a camp with girls who like science. Additional coverage notes that the program exists to make sure no young woman interested in STEM gets left behind and that Marina Bloomer previously helped launch rockets into space.

Stellar Tech Girls also offers Stellar Apparel so kids and adults can display their love of STEM, with items available in both kids and adult sizes and described as a gift option for STEM-loving girls.
