The Youth Development Program offers after school activities for children and teens. The program also includes homework assistance as a regular part of its activities.

Milwaukee Community Crossroads operates the Youth Development Program and has offered youth programming at the Kosciuszko Community Center since 2005. Milwaukee Community Crossroads began in 1921 and has over 100 years of experience. Its mission is to cultivate a vibrant Milwaukee community by helping individuals, families and neighborhoods access basic needs, overcome barriers and connect to opportunities. The organization’s leadership team includes Executive Director Karen Higgins; Director of Development and Communications Andrea Grittner; Director of Violence Prevention Programming Andre Robinson; Director of Older Adults Center Song Xiong-Buck; Director of Housing Jake Weiler; and Director of Finance Mary Hintz. Milwaukee Community Crossroads works with donors, volunteers, partners and program participants, and it partners with Americorps for the YouthBuild Program and with Milwaukee County Children, Youth and Family Services for the Credible Messengers program and the Advance Peace Program.
