Mukwonago YMCA Youth Programs & Camps offers Summer Day Camp, Preschool Programs, Youth Sports & Leagues, Youth Programs, Swim Lessons & League, and Specialty Camps. Children can take part in activities such as Cheer & Dance, Gymnastics, Swim Lessons, Swim Leagues, Lifeguard & Safety Certifications, Aquatic Exercise Programs, Sports Leagues, Sports Programs, and Seasonal Family Events. Additional options connected to the facility include InBody Testing, YMCA360 On-Demand Classes, Nutrition Coaching, Personal Training, Pickleball, Group Exercise, Cycling Classes, FOREVERWELL Classes, the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, Cooking Demonstrations, the Diabetes Prevention Program, Moving For Better Balance, and Body Composition Testing. The Mukwonago YMCA also offers corporate programs such as the Diabetes Prevention Program, Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, Wellness Challenges, Wellness Presentations, Group Exercise Classes, and Nutrition Coaching.
The Mukwonago YMCA was built in 2012 and was expanded in 2017 to include a Cycling Studio, Grand Multipurpose Room, 3- and 4-year-old preschool programming, and a 4K community partner location for the Mukwonago Area School District. The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County collaborates with the Mukwonago Area School District and the School District of Waukesha to provide 4K to children, and the YMCA Corporate Membership program is offered in conjunction with the majority of YMCAs throughout the state of Wisconsin. The Mukwonago YMCA serves families, seniors, adults, and youth in Waukesha, Walworth, and Racine counties and states its mission as: “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.”
