Authentic Ancient Arts offers training in the traditional martial arts of Karate and Kobudo. The program is based on a rich learning experience developed through a deep heritage and distinguished background in Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan. Students practice within the Authentic Ancient Arts family and community, which is celebrating 40 years of developing, guiding and training people in these traditional martial arts.

• Schedule: The dojo will be closed Thursday, November 27 – Friday, November 28, and Wednesday, December 24 through Sunday, January 5, except for classes on Saturday, December 27 and Saturday, January 3; normal classes resume on Monday, January 6, 2026.

Neil Stolsmark and the Authentic Ancient Arts family and community are marking 40 years of involvement in traditional Karate and Kobudo. Leadership at the dojo includes Waukesha Master Hanshi Stolsmark, who is referenced as “Hanshi,” and Neil Stolsmark. The mission statement explains that whether a student is seeking deep mastery or self-defense, the schools offer each student a rich learning experience developed through their heritage in Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan. The dojo is involved with the Waukesha Christmas parade on Sunday, December 7, when it will be open from 3 until finish, and attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets and are welcome to bring a dish to pass; there will be no parking after 2:00pm on Main Street that day. The schedule also notes December BIG THURSDAY on Thursday, December 4, the Waukesha Christmas parade on Sunday, December 7, and the Dojo Christmas Party PotLuck on Saturday, December 20th.
