About
YMCA of Greater Waukesha County Youth Programs & Camps offers activities that include sports leagues and sports programs, cheer and dance, gymnastics, swim lessons, swim leagues, and aquatic exercise programs. The program also includes Summer Day Camps, Specialty Camps, Preschool, 4K & Extended Care at the Y, Before and After School Care, Schools Out Fun Day, seasonal family events, Parents Night Out (Y Nights), babysitting classes, and Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes. Additional offerings include group exercise classes, cycling classes, personal training, wellness challenges, wellness presentations, nutrition coaching, body composition testing, cooking demonstrations, the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, the Diabetes Prevention Program, and the Moving For Better Balance 12-week Tai Chi course, as well as lifeguard and safety certifications and events such as the GWC YMCA Partners Golf Outing, Mukwonago YMCA Mud Run, Circle of Impact Sip & Support, and YMCA Corporate Membership options.

Personal training is provided by nationally certified personal trainers. Babysitting classes, Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes, and lifeguard and safety certifications are taught by certified instructors. Support for the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program is provided by trained ambassadors, wellness presentations are delivered by Healthy Living Instructors, and the Diabetes Prevention Program is led by a lifestyle coach. The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County states its mission as putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County collaborates with the Mukwonago Area School District and the School District of Waukesha to provide 4K to children.
