Cream City Clay offers Summer Camps for Kids with themed weeks where kids throw or hand build bowls for the Annual Empty Bowls Throw-a-Thon charitable event and work on clay projects. The camp themes include Fashion Week (Clay Morning/Art Afternoon), Pirate Week (Clay Morning/Art Afternoon), Claytopia Week (Advanced Class) with a clay-focused morning, Game Night Week (Clay Morning/Art Afternoon), and Toy Maker Week (Clay Morning). The studio also offers Couples Night Out sessions with options for wheel throwing or handbuilding.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer camp sessions run in 4-day blocks from July 20–23, July 27–30, August 3–6, August 10–13, and August 17–20, 2026; studio hours are Monday 6:30pm–9pm during class sessions, Tuesday–Thursday 10am–9pm, and Friday–Saturday 10am–3pm
Cream City Clay is a pottery school and studio serving Metro Milwaukee that offers multi-level classes, studio memberships, and private studio rentals. It is a learning center for the advancement of ceramic art and design and hosts Empty Bowls Throw-a-Thon and Trim-a-Thon events, including the 2025 MKE Empty Bowls Sales Event at the MSOE Kern Center on October 5, 2025 from 11am–2pm. The program describes itself as a positive creative community committed to encouraging each other and promoting excellence, and notes that it provides excellent instruction, mentoring, and quality equipment in a professional working environment with a beautiful studio and a contagious creative environment for creating ceramic art, pottery, and sculpture.
