About
City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation Youth Programs offers youth sports, tournaments, after-school programs, summer camps, after-school care, special interest classes, and seasonal activities. These programs use a variety of parks and recreation facilities and run under the City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation Department.

The City of Whitewater Parks & Recreation Department lists leadership roles that include Kevin Boehm as Parks & Recreation Director, Jennifer Jackson as Adult Recreation Coordinator and Adult Program Coordinator, Michael Maas as Youth Program and Athletics Coordinator and Youth Program Coordinator, Michelle Dujardin as Community Events Programmer and Assistant Director/Special Event Coordinator, Jamie Lowery as Whitewater Aquatic and Fitness Center Manager, Dan Buckingham as Facilities Tech II, Dylan Hake as Facilities Tech I, Ethan Cesarz as Athletic Program Coordinator, and Brian Neumeister as Streets Superintendent. The department states that its mission is to enhance the quality of life for the community through active living, inclusive programs, and well-maintained public spaces, and to provide services for those who live, work, and play in Whitewater. The department is involved in community events such as the Summer Concert Series, Christmas at Cravath, the Whitewater Food Truck Festival, and the annual 4th of July Parade, which uses the theme “America 250.” Whitewater is recognized as an Ice Age Trail Community, a Tree City, and a Bird City.
