Education Programs and Camps at The Arboretum at Flagstaff include summer camps, school field trips, bird walks, wildflower walks, Nature & Science talks, concerts, and special events. The program also offers raptor encounters with the International Raptor and Falconry Center, the Botanical Blacksmiths exhibit, and Ales with the Arb. Participants can see interpretive signage about the ecology of the region and view a seasonal art installation of metal garden sculpture that is available for purchase.

The Arboretum at Flagstaff’s mission is to increase the understanding, appreciation, and conservation of plants and plant communities native to the Colorado Plateau. The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization. It is home to 750 species of plants and features a 200-acre property with display gardens, greenhouses, open space, woodland trails, wetlands, forests, historic buildings, and family and pet friendly trails. The Arboretum at Flagstaff hosts raptors from the International Raptor and Falconry Center, a nonprofit.
