About the provider

Founded in 2022, the Arizona STEM Acceleration Project is described as a response to a widespread learning loss crisis, a lack of equitable education, and the need to improve and support STEM education across Arizona. It is a grassroots effort that connects educators with professional development organizations and funding partners, supports schools statewide, has impacted over 247,000 students, and provides resources through over 30 professional development partners and fellowships across Arizona. It is supported by the AZ Department of Education and the APS Foundation and received the 2024 ASU President's Medal for Social Embeddedness, the Arizona Tech Council's Judges Award for the Governor's Award of Technology and Innovation, and the APS Foundation Grant.
