• Price: Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater films are included in all Memberships and Discovery Pass Admissions.

Arizona Science Center began in 1980 as the Arizona Museum of Science & Technology, was incorporated in 1982 as a private nonprofit, and opened to the public in 1984. In 1997, it moved into a 120,000-square-foot building designed by architect Antoine Predock and later expanded by 18,000 square feet with the opening of CREATE at Arizona Science Center. Arizona Science Center states that it has a history of inspiring, educating, and engaging curious minds through science and is described as the state’s premier resource for informal science learning. The Center reports that it reaches more than 800,000 students, teachers, families, and guests each year through onsite, offsite, and online experiences. Early leadership from The Junior League of Phoenix and seed funding from Stevie and Karl Eller supported the creation and growth of the Center.
