About
Youth Classes and Camps offers classes and camps in visual arts, theatre, music, and dance. These youth programs take place at Phoenix Center for the Arts, which includes access to a 210-seat theatre and versatile rooms used for performances, rehearsals, and classes.
• Schedule: Class and camp options are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Phoenix Center for the Arts was established in 1975 and has been serving the Phoenix community for over 45 years. The organization offers more than 300 classes led by over 40 teaching artists. Its mission is to provide arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. Youth Classes and Camps are part of a broader set of programs that also include off-site art classes and experiences for after school programs, special events, and senior centers. Needs based financial assistance is available for anyone who requests it, and year-round discounts are offered for Veterans, Active Duty Military Personnel, and their family. Phoenix Center for the Arts is supported in part by the Arizona Commission on the Arts and receives partial funding from the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture through appropriations from the Phoenix City Council.
