Diamondback Little League offers Little League baseball in several divisions, including T-ball/Coach Pitch, Farm (machine pitch), Minors (kid pitch), Majors, Junior division, and Senior division. Over 150 boys and girls participate each year across these different divisions.
• Ages: 4–16 years old
• Schedule: Two seasons each year, with Spring practices and evaluations beginning in late January and games running through the end of May, and a Fall training and development season from September through November
Diamondback Little League is a chartered Little League serving the North Phoenix community. Its mission matches that of Little League Baseball: to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways the interest of those who participate in Little League baseball. The league follows Little League Baseball’s belief that players develop the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being, and that developing superior citizens is a higher priority than developing superior athletes. For practices, families are asked to send players with a baseball glove and water bottle, and optional items such as a baseball helmet and bat, and to have players wear athletic clothing, cleats or athletic shoes, and a baseball cap.
