About
Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club offers volleyball camps, private volleyball lessons, a year-round volleyball training academy, positional training, physical training focused on volleyball-specific strength and conditioning, team practices, and camps for players who aspire to join Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club. The program also offers a high-intensity volleyball experience, professional speed, strength, and agility programs, intense volleyball speed, strength, and agility programs, and one-on-one personal evaluations by the coaching staff at the conclusion of tryout camps. Additional activities include recruiting information sessions, college recruiting seminars, a post graduate program for student-athletes, and the use of game film.

• Schedule: Activities run from November to August, with a twelve-month calendar of events that includes local and travel club tournaments, club camps, extra training sessions, and Training Academy sessions that are one hour each in a small group setting.
Since 2004, Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club has been dedicated to the growth and development of hundreds of athletes, and in 2025 the club will celebrate its 22nd anniversary as a college preparatory academy. The program operates as a 501C3 non-profit and states a mission to provide a professional learning environment for all ages and abilities. The club’s core values are humility, ambition, effort, teamwork, and respect, and it describes itself with phrases such as “More Than a Club,” “Mas Que un Club,” “We are Family,” and “Trust the Process.”
Club Director Rosario Lopez launched Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club in 2004 and incorporated the program with the Arizona Incorporation Commission as a 501C3 non-profit, and is described as an international sports entrepreneur in the futsal world, professional athlete, law enforcement officer, and motivational speaker. Coaches are nationally and internationally recognized from the collegiate, professional, and international levels of competition, and the coaching staff is described as passionate, dedicated, qualified, knowledgeable, experienced, and among the most respected and successful coaches in Arizona. The club uses a Master Coaching System so that all teams follow the same practice plans and level of training, and maintains a high coach-to-player ratio in camps.
Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club is a college prep volleyball club with three College Recruiting Seminar opportunities for players and parents for the 2025–2026 season, open to the public regardless of club or school affiliation, and more than 70 players have already committed to various colleges across the country. The club uses stat software, video analysis, and jump tracking devices as cutting-edge technology used at the collegiate level, and offers a high-quality nutritional program geared toward improving strength, speed, and stamina for young athletes. Camps and club evaluations are used to meet and evaluate players for future placement, and the program offers a year-round system of training for the student-athlete.
Regional Teams practice two times a week for a total of 4 hours per week, and National Teams practice three times a week for a total of 6 hours per week. Positional Training provides 5 to 6 hours a month in the gym. Each Training Academy session is one hour of intense training in a small group setting.
Arizona Saguaros Volleyball Club is a member of USA Volleyball, AAU, and JVA Volleyball, adheres to the policies that govern those associations, and those associations thrive under the confederation of NORCECA sanctioned by the FIVB. The club strongly supports the Clean Sports Act. RIP-IT is the official shoe sponsor of Arizona Saguaros, and its FUTURE shoe is described as the first volleyball shoe ever to be certified by VERT. The club also offers a comprehensive parents page with FAQs to help navigate club volleyball.
The Saguaros Solidarity project is run in close collaboration between the club teams and the Saguaros Super Fans Club, with charity causes chosen each season and various entities with which the club’s athletes are involved in joint activities from November to August, with the idea that athletes eventually take part in all of the different experiences as they get older. The Saguaros Super Fans Club is made up of former players, parents, and benefactors that span decades. Mi Vision Photography is the official videographer and media expert of Arizona Saguaros, providing expert media coverage, personalized team and individual photography, and personal highlight reels.
