Rosie’s House Music Programs offers Early Childhood Music Program, Start With Music, Music Exploration, Afterschool Music Program, and Summer Music Program. Students receive loaned instruments for their studies, and the Afterschool program includes homework help and tech access for grades 3–12. Students also perform at recitals and community events.
Programs
- Early Childhood Music Program — Infancy–Age 5 · Six-week sessions; classes meet once a week for 45 minutes
- Start With Music — Infancy–Age 3 · Six-week sessions; classes meet once a week for 45 minutes · Parent participation is required. One parent or caregiver must attend with the child.
- Music Exploration — Ages 4–5 · Six-week sessions
- Afterschool Music Program — Grades 1–12 · 32 weeks; fall and spring semesters; classes held Monday-Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. · Most classes meet once a week for an hour, while some meet twice a week. Families are required to attend a Family Interview. New students are admitted through a lottery system.

About the provider
Rosie’s House provides 100% free music education to children and teens across the greater Phoenix area. The Musicians Active in Community (MAC) program includes performances through partnerships with hospitals, shelters, and retirement communities.
Participation is completely free of charge. Families may qualify based on household income limits set by HUD for Arizona. Early Childhood enrollment is determined by a lottery system. Families must be able to commit to the full 6-week session. For Start With Music, one parent or caregiver must attend with the child. The Afterschool program requires a Family Interview. 2026–2027 enrollment is closed.
