Jr. Sun Devils Elite Hockey is a youth hockey program that focuses on competitive ice hockey. Players take part in organized hockey activities under the Jr. Sun Devils Elite Hockey name.
• Ages: 8–18 years old
The Jr. Sun Devils Elite Hockey program is part of the Desert Youth Hockey Association and is affiliated with the Arizona Amateur Hockey Association. The program is USA Hockey-sanctioned and offers an amateur hockey experience that emphasizes competitive player development and personal growth, with a focus on core values such as respect and responsibility. It prioritizes skilled coaching, sound decision-making, and long-term player development based on integrity and character.
The leadership team includes Nick Naumenko as Coach in Chief and Director of Hockey Operations, Marc Fritsche as Executive Director of Program Operations, Adrienne Weinkamer as Treasurer and Registrar, and DYHA Admin overseeing web and IT. The program holds the credential of being USA Hockey-sanctioned and earned the title of 2024-2025 18U Tier II State Champions.
