SciTech Institute

SciTech Institute offers Arizona STEM Ecosystem, Arizona SciTech Festival, Chief Science Officers, STEM for All Kits, Science For All, Workforce Pathways for Youth, Worlds of Work (WOW), and the Skills Map Framework. Workforce Pathways for Youth is for rural youth ages 1421 and blends career exploration, employability skill-building, and regional workforce alignment. Worlds of Work (WOW) includes immersive, hands-on career exploration events that connect students directly with industry.

• Chief Science Officers — Student leadership program that elevates student voice and brings peers and community leaders together to ignite new opportunities in STEM and innovation.
• STEM for All Kits — Community-driven book exchange hubs that provide free monthly STEM education take-home kits to counties throughout Arizona.
• Science For All — Program for underserved students to provide workplace employability and technical skills necessary for securing jobs in STEM fields.
• Workforce Pathways for Youth — rural youth ages 14–21 · Blends career exploration, employability skill-building, and regional workforce alignment.
• Worlds of Work (WOW) — Immersive, hands-on career exploration events connecting students directly with industry.
• Skills Map Framework — Statewide effort to align what students learn with what employers need through customized Skills Maps.

About the provider

SciTech Institute says its mission is to engage a connected community to transform lives with access to the world of STEM. It works with Arizonas industries, leaders, educators, and students, and receives grants, resources, and support from in- and out-of-state organizations. It is also a collaborative initiative with the Arizona Commerce Authority and Arizona Technology Council.
