SciTech Institute STEM Programs include activities such as the Arizona SciTech Festival, Science For All, the Chief Science Officers (CSOs) program, the STEM & Innovation Summit, STEM Little Free Libraries, the Arizona STEM Ecosystem, and Ecosystem Hubs & Working Groups. The programs include festivals, summits, and projects that highlight a variety of STEM careers and awareness, along with hands-on STEM-onstrations and free monthly STEM education take-home kits through a collaboration with AVNET.

SciTech Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and promoting STEM education and awareness in Arizona and beyond. Its mission is to engage a connected community to transform lives with access to the world of STEM and to connect and engage Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) networks to foster opportunities and collaboration in education and workforce. SciTech Institute helps ready a knowledgeable, skilled STEM workforce through key statewide STEM initiatives that include the Arizona STEM Ecosystem, Arizona SciTech Festival, Chief Science Officers (CSO) program, STEM Little Free Libraries, Ecosystem Hubs & Working Groups, and Science For All. The organization is focused on cultivating an ecosystem of conscious STEM communities through awareness, connections, and empowerment, and it is a collaborative initiative with the Arizona Commerce Authority and Arizona Technology Council. SciTech Institute’s team culture celebrates shared values, goals, attitudes, and best practices, and its core values are Collaborative, Positive, Compassionate, Honest, Passionate, Adaptable, Determined, and Inclusive. Through its many STEM programs available throughout the state, there is a way for everyone to be an advocate for STEM advancement in their community, and the global network of young leaders in the Chief Science Officers program continues to grow in 12 regions around the world. The STEM & Innovation Summit connects STEM industry leaders, community members, educators, and collaborators to share resources, best practices, community involvement, and hands-on STEM-onstrations, while STEM Little Free Libraries serve as petite, community-driven book exchange hubs that promote the “take a book, return a book” approach and provide free monthly STEM education take-home kits. The vision of Science For All is to provide underserved students with workplace employability and technical skills necessary for securing jobs in STEM fields, and Chief Science Officers amplify student voice by bringing their peers and community leaders together to ignite new opportunities in STEM through action plans.
