Vasilisa Educational Camps

Vasilisa Educational Camps offers seasonal educational camps where children take part in activities such as cooking, dancing, acting, choir singing, chess, drawing, art, yoga, music, science, modeling, English, mathematics, logic, history, and movie time at the cinema with popcorn. The program also includes Russian language and literature, Spanish language classes, piano lessons, etiquette lessons, science classes, culinary classes, and visits to the Alice Kids Playroom, which has over 3,000 different types of toys and games and a home theater with stereo sound. Camp days can also feature projects, art studio activities, a holiday concert for parents, a tea party with treats prepared by the children, and play-and-learn camp formats.

Over the past 20 years, the teachers at Vasilisa Educational Camps have used their pedagogical experience to balance entertainment and children’s development, and the copyright notice for Vasilisa Tutoring Center covers 2018–2024. The camp uses plans and workbooks for different ages, groups of 5 to 10 children, and unique educational materials created by principal and owner Tatiana Ermolaeva, including colorful interactive notebooks with crosswords, tasks, and QR codes. The program includes Student of the Month and Student of the Year awards, and offers both online and offline classes, as well as individual and group lessons, with no refunds or make-up classes for missed sessions.

All teachers at the Vasilisa Tutoring Center hold university degrees, have completed professional psychological training, and have extensive teaching experience. Principal Tatiana Ermolaeva is a teacher of Russian language and literature with more than 25 years of teaching experience and created a special Russian language and literature course for the center. Other staff include Russian language and literature teacher Vladimir Priyma; chess trainer and FIDE Master/FIDE Trainer Arshak Ramazyan; Spanish tutor Hector Gutierrez Poroj; vocal teacher and international competition laureate Elza Avakian; pianists and music educators Mikael and Yulia Ayrapetyan; trainer-choreographer Maria, who holds an EB-1 visa for individuals with extraordinary abilities; speech therapist and defectologist Mariia Paskal; early childhood specialist Zlata Khaitova; dance and acting teacher and children’s show director Margarita Zaitseva; and art and after-school group teacher Anastasia Torganchuk.

The mission of Vasilisa Educational Camps is to instill love for the Russian language from childhood and to preserve cultural and linguistic traditions so children can strengthen connections with Russian-speaking relatives and friends. The center focuses on helping Russian-speaking parents incorporate Russian language and culture into their children’s lives, combining high-quality education, creativity, and an individual approach to each student. The program is described as an addition to regular schooling that supports intellectual and talent development seven days a week by combining recreational and learning processes for children’s harmonious development and socialization.

Camp tuition includes hot home-cooked lunch and snacks, and all necessary materials and equipment are included in the price. Registration for camp involves downloading the contract and student registration form, filling them out, emailing them, waiting for an invoice, paying a deposit to hold a spot, and paying the remaining balance on the first day of camp. The program also offers an afterschool program, private lessons, tutoring, Saturday school for kids, a Sunday Mom+kid play-and-learn camp, kindergarten and school day programs, and Mom+kid cooking classes.

Vasilisa Educational Camps offers birthday party packages, including themed options such as Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland, as well as face painting and celebrating birthdays at the center.
