• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Four two-week sessions
Camp Kinneret’s mission is “To Build Better People and Teach Skills for Life.” It is a tech-free summer day camp with an unplugged community and a child-centered philosophy. Campers work together to care for an organic garden and taste the fruits of their labor. The camp uses the Whereabouts attendance app for scheduling absences, transportation changes, early pickups, viewing program photos, reading news and updates, and checking the camp calendar. Transportation is available from Studio City all the way to the Camarillo grade. Camp Kinneret serves children ages 4–14 from Calabasas, Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, Encino, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding communities. It has been “Growing Confident Kids Since 1954” and has called its current site home since the early 70’s. Ryan, Jamie, and Amy are part of the leadership team and are there year-round. One parent shared, “Great experience for a first time camper... she's still talking about it and still sings some of the songs she learned at camp!”
