Camp Kinneret is a tech-free summer day camp where campers take part in swimming, a high ropes course, archery, hiking, and sports. The program also includes caring for small livestock and working in an organic garden, where campers work together in the garden and taste the fruits of their labor.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Four two-week sessions
Camp Kinneret serves children from Calabasas, Westlake Village, Woodland Hills, Encino, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding communities. Transportation is provided from Studio City to the Camarillo grade with multiple bus stops. The program uses the Whereabouts attendance app for managing absences, transportation changes, and communication.
Camp Kinneret has been growing confident kids since 1954. Its mission is “To Build Better People and Teach Skills for Life.” Ryan, Jamie, and Amy are available year-round to speak with families. Camp Kinneret is a member of the American Camp Association and the Western Association of Independent Camps. One parent shared, “My children seem to bloom in the summer. The time at Kinneret encourages their growth and development.”
