Instructors at Dance/10 Performing Arts Center have professional and educational credits, and the faculty continues training every year through national dance education programs, certifications, and professional conferences. The mission of the program states that every student, from age 3 through adult, is treated with professionalism, is encouraged to participate in multiple styles of dance, and receives instruction that includes discipline, self-esteem, mutual respect, and teamwork. Pamm Drake and Dance/10 have provided a wide range of performing opportunities for 37 years.
Dance/10 Performing Arts Center has been voted Best Dance Studio in the East Bay and Alameda. Community performance opportunities have included the Alameda Mayor’s 4th of July Parade, Oakland Holiday Parade, Niles Parade, Palm Springs Festival of Lights, Alameda County Fair, Paramount’s Great America, and Six Flags Marine World. One parent shared that Dance/10 allowed their child to grow a love for dance at their own pace in an energized and committed environment, and an adult dancer described feeling grateful to be part of the dance family and noted the joy, memories, and friendships from dancing there.
