The outdoor pool is 366,00 gallons, kept between 78–80 degrees year round, with 10 lanes ranging from 4'6" to 13' deep, and it has a diving board that is open from Memorial Day to the end of summer. The indoor pool houses equipment for water fitness exercise. Men’s and women’s restrooms each have showers, toilets, and a place to change, and there is also a family changing room/accessible bathroom with a shower, toilet, and bench to change.

The mission of the Albany Aquatic Center is to promote healthy lifestyle and development through knowledge of swimming and water fitness principles, with a goal of providing a safe environment of fun and fitness opportunities for Albany students and the community.
