Swimming offers swimming and swimming lessons led by certified instructors. In this program, participants practice water safety skills and work on stroke technique in an aquatic center or pool. The program also states that swimming helps prevent chronic disease, decreases high blood pressure, increases cognitive well-being, and fosters a lifetime of healthy physical activity.
• Schedule: Pool hours Monday–Friday 7:00 am–7:00 pm (open) with closure from 12:00 pm–3:00 pm, and Saturday 7:00 am–8:30 am (open); times are subject to change

The organization is identified as a United Way Agency. Nationwide Membership enables participants to visit any participating Y in the United States through membership at their “home” YMCA.
