10th Planet Pasadena

10th Planet Pasadena offers Nano Techs for ages 4-6, Kids Jiu-Jitsu for ages 6-12, and adult classes for ages 14+. The program includes takedowns, submissions, positional control, live drilling, regular sparring, and work on Rubber Guard, Truck, Lockdown, and Leg Lock systems.

• Adult Fundamentals — 14+ · Level: beginner. Learn takedowns, submissions, positional control, and live drilling. No experience required.
• Adult All-Levels — 14+ · Level: all. Drill, live spar, and work on Rubber Guard, Truck, Lockdown, and Leg Lock systems.
• Nano Techs — 4-6 · Twice a week, 45 minutes · Character, confidence, and first movements in a character-first environment.
• Kids Jiu-Jitsu — 6-12 · Structured 10P system for kids in a safe, disciplined environment. Includes regular sparring, character and citizenship, progression tracking, and family discounts.
• Kids & Teens — Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat
• All Levels — Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri

About the provider

The leadership team includes Erik “Compella” Cruz, Founder and Head Instructor; Lila Smadja-Cruz, Founder; George Jäuregui, Head Kids Coach; Rudy Garcia, Instructor; Jordan Gaskins, Instructor; and Steven Belanger, Instructor. The program describes itself as a Premier No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu school, notes an Eddie Bravo Black Belt under Erik “Compella” Cruz, and says there are six 10th Planet Black Belts on staff.
