Camp Tahquitz Summer Camp

Camp Tahquitz Summer Camp offers activities including a heated swimming pool, zip line, archery, shotgun and rifle shooting, climbing and rappelling, horseback riding, rowing, canoeing, nature studies, camp craft, hikes, and challenging hikes. Campers stay in tent camping areas or cabins and have access to a lodge during their session.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: 2026 summer camp sessions run weekly from June 21–27, June 28–July 4, July 5–11, July 12–18, and July 19–25, with each session running from its listed start date to the following listed end date.
• Price: 2026 pricing is Youth In Council $625, Youth Out of Council $650, Adult In Council $350, and Adult Out of Council $375, with a $15 per person increase for registrations after 5/1/2026 and a $20 per person late surcharge for units registering within two weeks of the requested session; deposits are non-refundable, and specific refund amounts depend on the date and reason for cancellation, with a full refund if the council cancels the camp program.

Since opening in 1925, Camp Tahquitz Summer Camp has served hundreds of thousands of youth from greater Long Beach, Southern California, and several western United States. The leadership team includes Andy Long as Summer Camp Director, Dan McPeck as Camp Tahquitz Director, and Kevin Folkerts as Council Program Director, LBAC. Camp Tahquitz is open to all organizations for rental use and hosts reunions, retreats, family reunions, or organizations’ socials.
