Seahawk Sports Camps – Soccer includes activities such as mobile striking, footwork agility, and learning to boot the ball on the move with accuracy. Campers also work on gaining ball control and using both feet with confidence. The program includes a focus on teamwork dynamics and selfless leadership as part of the soccer instruction.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with half-day (9am–12pm) and full-day (9am–3pm) options
The camp offers instruction from the Cabrillo College men’s and women’s soccer coaching staff, who are described as professional, nationally licensed coaches and former professional players attuned to the needs of all ages and abilities. The leadership team includes Gladys Mondragon (Head Coach), Lauren Inman (Assistant Coach), and Paolo Carbone (Cabrillo College’s Men’s Soccer Head Coach). The stated mission is that the Cabrillo College soccer team invites participants to have fun, learn new skills from top-level instructors, and experience a comprehensive, informative week of instruction focused on individual and team skills. Additional features include a low camper-to-coach ratio, a Nike Soccer Camp T-shirt, elite technical and fundamental development, and team discounts for groups of four or more.
