About the provider
Cabrillo Youth Chorus has educated, developed, and inspired young singers in Santa Cruz County for over 25 years. It is directed by Carlin Truong, with Cheryl Andersen listed as Founding Director. The team also includes Marina Kandieva-Thomas as Pianist and Accompanist, along with Olivia Siemer, Niall Andrews, Madeleine Demers, and Sebastian Stock as Teacher's Assistants for 2026-27.
Cabrillo has moved to a one-time application requirement for Dual Enrollment students. As long as a student enrolls in at least one semester within one year of applying, their application will remain valid. Students who applied or attended prior to Summer 2025 must reapply for this new policy to take effect. CYC uses a dual enrollment application process and sing ers need to be approved with a Cabrillo Student ID number.
