All lessons at Seahorse Swim Academy are taught by Tiffany Harmon, a professional swim instructor who owns Seahorse Swim School, Inc., is an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer in Water Safety, and has been teaching swimming lessons since 1985. She graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCSC and also holds a BA in Psychology and a Teaching Credential in Health and Safety. Seahorse Swim School has been voted Best Swim School in the Good Times, and clients have described its teachers as “safe, intuitive, fun, creative, encouraging, positive, patient, gentle, efficient, friendly, energetic and enthusiastic.” American Red Cross certified lifeguards are offered for private parties and special events, and the program notes that the CDC recommends families consider bringing personal swimming training tools such as kickboards, pull buoys, towels, goggles for each swimmer, and toys for children, and to discourage sharing of toys at this time.
