Snapology of Tri Valley STEM/STEAM Programs

Snapology of Tri Valley STEM/STEAM Programs offers hands-on activities such as robotics, animation, computer learning, movie-making, drones, and creative play in a Discovery Center. Children build with LEGO bricks and K’Nex, create robotic models that move, make sounds, and respond to sensors, and learn programming principles like loops, triggers, inputs, and outputs. The program also includes stop-motion animation using LEGO bricks and software, design challenges with LEGO bricks, K’Nex, and technology, building coasters and other rides with motors, designing custom light sabers, and building robots to complete different challenges.

Snapology of Tri Valley STEM/STEAM Programs offers birthday parties, field trips, camps, after-school programs, workshops, assemblies, and custom events. The Discovery Center is an indoor play center with building toys and interactive play areas, and it offers both instructor-guided classes and unguided creative play areas. Regular Creative Play Hours are available with the option for adults to drop kids off or stay and explore, and there is no charge for adults to play in the Discovery Center. Kids 5 and older can explore the Discovery Center on their own, while younger children require a parent. Snapology brings all instructional and educational toys needed to host STEAM programs, camps, and parties, and classrooms provide educational programs, camps, and parties, with community-based programs hosted at local facilities and special events for schools and groups.

According to its mission statement, Snapology provides year-round STEAM learning programs where instructors use fun, hands-on activities to teach science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The curriculum is based on research showing that children learn best when actively designing, creating, and exploring, and it supports children of all abilities, including gifted learners, traditional students, and those with special needs such as sensory sensitivities or autism spectrum considerations. Programs are available in Discovery Centers, classrooms, and community facilities across the globe.

Snapology programs support scouts by offering activities that work toward badges, pins, and awards, and a Snapology STEM/STEAM patch is available for groups that complete programs at an additional cost. Programs are adapted to work toward Girl Scout STEM badges for multiple levels, including Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. When the classroom is located inside an Urban Air Adventure Park, there is an option to add Urban Air playtime before or after class. Snapology birthday parties include a STEAM activity and are described as stress-free for parents.

Tri Valley, CA Snapology is described as a Community STEM Education Program offering programs at different locations throughout the community, including community centers, schools, and other public spaces. It provides programs for schools, community groups, private events, teams, and scouting groups.
