Gracie Barra Atascadero offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Jiu-Jitsu martial arts training. The program provides martial arts classes that include access to a Free Trial Class and the Red Shield Founders Package, which includes discounted tuition, unlimited training, and a free gi and rash guard. The program promotes a culture of inclusivity and emphasizes unity, support, and equality, with a focus on brotherhood, integrity, development, family, confidence, and legacy.
The program is led by owner Evan Lincer, who started training in 2018 and opened Gracie Barra Atascadero in 2023. Its mission follows Master Carlos Gracie Jr.’s statement: “We seek to train body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. We envision the art as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning-losing or contest philosophy.” The community extends past the mats, and nearby communities of Templeton, Creston, Santa Margarita, and Paso Robles are welcomed to visit Gracie Barra Atascadero off of the Mission Oaks Plaza.
