About
Playtime Discoveries offers structured activity and play, hands-on learning, free play, challenges, and projects. The program includes weekly, themed camps from Monday to Thursday where children take part in challenges, projects, and free play. Families can also access engaging child and parent services that focus on children's success and growth, including parent participation options and academic support.
• Ages: 1–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly, themed camps from Monday to Thursday
Playtime Discoveries offers a Parent Participation class (Mommy and Me) for children aged 18 months–3 years old with a mother, father, or grandparent. The Mommy and Me participation group can provide long term friendships between families and create new friendships for kids outside of their home. The Pre-K Parent Participation Program focuses on hands-on learning with a mixture of structure and free play, with a parent present once per week in the Pre-K program to help a child navigate the idea of being without a parent at school. The program also offers a Support/Tutoring Program with personalized academic support, including options for one on one tutoring services with an emphasis on reading development.
Playtime Discoveries is led by Emily Cooper (Director). Its mission is to create a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning, with a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to explore and grow through hands-on experiences. The program serves the community of the Central Coast.
