In Sync Dance of Auburn

In Sync Dance of Auburn offers Intro to Dance, a 30-minute class with creative movement, ballet, and tap. It also offers Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combination, Beginning Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro for Dance, Ballet/Contemporary, Modern, Beginning/Intermediate Lyrical and Contemporary, Beginning/Intermediate Tap, Turns and Leaps, Contemporary, and Stretch and Conditioning.

Programs

• Intro to Dance — range from 3-4 yrs · 30 minutes of creative movement, involving ballet and tap. Introduces self-control, body awareness, class structure, tempo and size of movement.
• Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combination — range from 4-7 yrs · 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap and jazz (switching off weekly).
• Beginning Ballet — range from 7-12 yrs
• Hip Hop — range from 6-10 yrs and 10+ yrs · High-energy class. The classes are broken down by age and by level.
• Acro for Dance — age 8+ · Fuses dance technique with acrobatic elements to build flexibility, strength, balance, limbering and tumbling abilities.
• Ballet/Contemporary — range 8+ yrs · A class specifically designed for preteen dancers interested in learning the basics and advancing their skills in both ballet and contemporary.
• Modern — preteen and teen students · Students focus on contractions, spirals, basic floor work, and elemental concepts of space, time and force.
• Beginning/Intermediate Lyrical and Contemporary — Explores the differences between Modern and Contemporary.
• Beginning/Intermediate Tap — 60 minute class designed for the dancer who is new to tap.
• Turns and Leaps — 60 minute class designed for the intermediate to advanced dancer, permission required.
• Contemporary — Begins with a full body warm up and focuses on strong placement, classical technique, lyricism, fluidity, and athleticism.
• Stretch and Conditioning — Required for Senior and Elite Company dancers, open to all.

About the provider

Jessie and Kevin Krick acquired In Sync Dance in 2002, and Miss Jessie is the director. The studio’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of dancers through support, mentoring, building confidence, and the lessons of giving, and to promote the art of dance in the community and altruism through charity events. Students also learn about community and volunteerism, and they can attend conventions, compete, perform in the Disneyland Dance the Magic Parade, and take part in annual summer and winter performances.

No child is ever turned away from ISDA. In Sync Dance has a TWO MONTH minimum for all classes. All tuition fees are based on calendar months. Annual registration fee is $25.00 per family. Uniform is $55.00 - $105.00 dependent on class. Performance fee is $150.00. If participating in more than one routine for a specific performance, an extra $75.00 will be charged in addition to cover another costume.
