Reeves Martial Arts & Fitness states that it is a family-friendly Taekwondo school where students are treated like family and that it is committed to helping each student reach fitness goals while growing as athletes, learners, leaders, and martial artists. The program describes its teaching methods as innovative and grounded in the time-honored values of traditional martial arts, with a focus on building strength, confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills. It practices the Taeguek Poomsae patterns standardized by the Kukkiwon, the Korean Taekwondo governing body.

The program offers a free lesson or free class for first-time students ages 5 and up, as well as a free trial with no commitment needed. It states that Taekwondo is adaptable to suit the needs of students of all ages, body types, fitness levels, and learning styles, and that classes are designed to give each student a strong learning experience while also providing a workout and a fun environment. Official Reeves Martial Arts apparel and accessories (TKD Swag) are available, and the program also offers self-defense seminars, ninja camps, and birthday parties.

Reeves Martial Arts & Fitness participates in community events such as the Free Party in the Park at Regional Park, the Food Truck Fiesta at Recreation Park, Kidzapalooza at Recreation Park, and the Gathering in Folsom. One family Taekwondo review notes that a parent and child have trained there for two years, describes the dojang as very nice, spacious, and well-lit, and mentions that classes are well-organized with skills at each belt level building on the next. Another testimonial from a 3rd Degree Black Belt, age 52, describes Taekwondo there as “the perfect antidote after a long day at the office or on the road.” A 4th Degree Black Belt states that after returning to training with Master Reeves, training is tailored around changing physical issues and recommends Reeves Martial Arts to everyone from kids to adults.
